This is a full roof replacement we completed on a two-story brick home in Sugar Land. The photos below are the real job, start to finish: tear-off, the decking we found underneath, the crew at work, and the finished roof.
We have been looking after this roof for the last six years, with a few repairs and yearly maintenance along the way. We do not push a replacement before its time, but on this one the shingles and the decking made the call: it was time to stop patching and put on a new roof.
What we found under the old roof
Once the old shingles came off, the deck told the story. Part of the decking at the eave had rotted through, the kind of damage you cannot see from the ground and cannot fix by laying new shingles over it. That is exactly why we tear off to the deck on every replacement instead of covering up problems.

The work
We replaced the rotted decking, installed synthetic underlayment, and put on new architectural shingles. A foreman stays on site for the whole job, and we run a magnetic sweep around the yard multiple times so nails do not get left behind for kids, pets, or tires.

The finished roof

Every roof replacement we install comes with a 10-year labor warranty in writing, and it transfers to the new homeowner if you sell. Repairs carry a 2-year warranty in writing. You also get a free roof checkup every year on a replacement.
